Was established in 1987 and located in the Obertal Mall.
Within the second year of business we had grown to twice the size of our original shop.
As our selection of fabrics, patterns, and notions continued to grow, we found we once again needed larger quarters.

In 1994 we purchased
Mrs. Anderson's Lodging House,
a historic establishment in
down town Leavenworth.
In 1995 we moved Dee's Country Accents
into roughly 1000 square feet of the lodge with the remaining nine rooms to be used for our bed and breakfast. The marriage of Dee's Country Accents and Mrs. Anderson's Lodging House
has proven to be a very successful union.
With this we are able to accommodate Quilting Retreats of most any size.
Dee's Country Accents has gained
a reputation in the northwest’s for carrying difficult to find or out of print quilt books, as well as the latest publications, totaling approximately 1500 in books and the largest selection of patterns for
quilting, stitchery and craft, and a large selection of stencils and notions to help you with your quilting and craft projects. In addition, we carry over 2000 bolts of the finest 100% cotton fabric, from
Michael Miller, P & B, Kona Bay, Benartex, Moda, South Sea and In The Beginning.
